Located in the heart of the Verdon regional natural park, the gorges are a unique site in Europe.
21 km long, the Verdon river flows through the faults, open or underground, dug for millions of years.
This part of the Verdon offers spectacular views of the walls of the gorges which can reach 700 meters high.
You can also contemplate the magnificent landscapes of the Verdon near its lakes
Climbing, hiking (the GR4 passes by La Garde, very close to us; Martel path which goes along the right bank of the gorges on 15 km; Imbut path...), you will find an incredible choice from the small walk to the big hike!
You will be able to practise also numerous white water sports (rafting, canyoning, canoe kayak hydrospeed, aquatic walk...) or water sports (swimming, pedal boat, electric boats, sailing...)
As well as air sports (paragliding, hang gliding, free flight...), horse riding, carriage rides, pony club... and enjoy the Golf of Taulane which is at 20 km.
Don't forget to visit the typical villages of Provence which are in the Verdon!
You will be seduced by the unavoidable village of Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, one of the most beautiful villages of France.
You can also stop at Quinson, Sainte-Croix-du-Verdon, Bauduen, Aiguines, La Palud-sur-Verdon, Castellane...Stroll to the terraces of the cafes or stroll on the markets..

You will be able to see these majestic birds of prey in their natural environment at the reserve "Les Vautours" of the Verdon regional natural park, in Rougon.
These vultures were reintroduced in the Verdon gorges in 1999. Discover them by crossing the village of Rougon, equipped with a pair of binoculars, or let yourself be guided during nature outings proposed by the LPO PACA and the association Insolite nature.
